Amtrak ADA Stations Program - Bryan, OH
This project enhances ADA compliance and accessibility at Amtrak’s Bryan, OH, station through phased construction.
Phase I: Relocation of fiber optic utilities by the host railroad.
Phase II: Demolition and replacement of the west-end platform with a new ADA-compliant structure (343’ x 12’ 8”) elevated 8” above the rail, along with a new ramp, trackside drainage system, and egress area. Access to the shelter will remain open, and temporary accessible paths will be provided.
Phase III: Demolition and replacement of the east-end platform with a new ADA-compliant structure (24’ x 12’ 8”) at rail level, along with new ramps, drainage, and accessible paths to the parking lot. The project includes upgraded accessible parking, new striping, bollards, and signage. A new shelter building with an ADA-compliant waiting area, restroom, and utilities will also be constructed, along with enhanced lighting throughout the station.
