Orland Park, IL

The Illinois Route 7 project included improvements to a ¼ mile section of roadway adjacent to the Metra station at 153rd Street in Orland Park, IL. GAC was accountable for the demolition of the existing road, the excavation of 44,000 cubic yards of soil, and the reconstruction of the new thoroughfare. The new street construction included storm sewers, underground stormwater detention, curbs, asphalt paving, and striping. The project also involved a newly constructed parking lot, with ADA signage and striping, which provided local commuters with an additional 200 parking spaces at the station.
